Wordpress is a Content Management Software (CMS) and also called as publishing platform. Don’t get confused. In simple words, Wordpress is an easy way to post your content & put advertisements in your blog. If you have already purchased domain, hosting and finished Name servers change, then you can easily install Wordpress.
Install Wordpress Using Fantastico:
What is Fantastico?
Fantastico is a software used in hosting cpanel. Fantastico helps us to install many open source softwares like wordpress, joomla, drupal, phpbb etc in simple clicks. If you have purchased any other hosting which doesn’t have fantastico, then you can not set up your wordpress blog as easily as following.
1. Go to yourblog.com/cPanel. For example, I have purchased onlineideas.info and already edited name servers details. So now i am going to www.onlineideas.info/cpanel and enter username & password details i have used when sign up for hosting.
2. Search for ‘Fantastico’ in software section in your cPanel. Click on ‘Fantastico’ Icon.

3. Click ‘Wordpress’ in left navigation.

4. Then, Click ‘New Installation’.

5. Then, Select the domain in which you want to install Wordpress. Leave the ‘Install in directory’ box as empty. Give new username & password for Wordpress admin set up. After wordpress installation, we have login & posting contents in your site using this username & password.

6. Fill Admin Nickname, current email (gmail, yahoo etc), site name & description. Then click ‘Install Wordpress’.
7. That’s all. Installation completed. Give your email id & click “send email”. You will receive an email with installation details.

8. Now you can see your blog in yourblog.com. Here www.onlineideas.info screenshot.

Now your blog ready. You can start posting contents in www.yourblog.com/wp-admin. In this example, for my blog, www.onlineideas.info/wp-admin. Login using admin username and password given when you install wordpress.
