    Get Free Email for Your Domain Step 12

    Have you ever wished to own your domain email id? Yes. I wished. I wanted to own pascal@onlineideas.info. I have one own blog www.onlineideas.info. I will explain how to create a free email id (pascal@onlineideas.info) in this post.

    Is it really possible to create own email id for free?

    Yes. Google offers this service in it Google Apps. If you own a domain, you can create email for free using Google Application.

    How to create email using Google Apps?

    1. Go to www.google.com/a

    2. Click ‘Standard’ under ‘Other Google Apps Editions’.

      3. In next page, click ‘Get Started’.

      4. In next page, select ‘Administrator’ option and enter your domain name. For reference, see the below picture.

      5. In next page, fill your personal & organization details and then click ‘Continue’.

    6. Now we can create administrator email account. I am creating pascal@onlineideas.info as administrator. Click ‘Accept Terms and Continue’.

      7. In next step, Google asks you to verify domain ownership. There are two ways to verify your ownership. Select first method ‘Upload an Html File…’ and click ‘Continue’.

      8. You will be shown how to verify using ‘Upload an Html file option’.

    A) First go to your blog wordpress admin dashboard. Click ‘Add new’ under ‘Pages’ Tab in left navigation.

    B)Type ‘googlehostedservice.html’ in heading.

    C) Paste the characters shown in Google Apps verify page.

    D)Then Click ‘Publish’ button.

    Now come back to Google apps page and click ‘I’ve completed the steps above’. That’s all.

    9. Now go to ‘Dashboard’ in Google Apps. Click ‘Activate it’ button.

    2. 10. You will be asked to change MX records page. There will be a guide to let you know how to change MX records in your domain management settings.

    4. If you don’t know how to change your MX records, contact your hosting company and ask him to set up MX records for Google Apps. In most of the cases, he will do. If  he can’t do that, you can contact us at info@redisred.com

    After finishing all the above steps, I can create further email ids for your employees in Google Apps dashboard by logging into www.google.com/a/onlineideas.info. Google Apps will take upto 48 hours to find MX records change and html verification success. So upto that your new email wont’ receive emails in inbox.
